Vegan Chia Jam

This easy 3-ingredient vegan chia jam blends together fruit, maple syrup, and chia seeds, for a naturally sweetened and delicious jam!


  • 2 cups of cherries*
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. chia seeds


  1. First, bring water and your fruit of choice (in this case cherries) to a boil. Reduce the heat and let simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
  2. Next, remove the fruit mix and place it in a blender. Or if you don’t have a blender just use a fork and press the fruit flat. Pulse two to four times to smash the fruit. Transfer the fruit mixture back to a saucepan.
  3. Next, stir in maple syrup and add chia seeds.
  4. Finally, pour chia mixture into a glass jar, seal, and refrigerate for an hour until firm.
